Central Oregon Community College has one on-campus residence hall, Juniper Hall.  Juniper Hall provides safe, comfortable and affordable housing to more than 100 male and female students, living in two wings joined by a common recreational and social area. The rooms are furnished and house two students.

Juniper Hall is the perfect place to build lifelong friendships. Residence hall living makes it easy to get involved in activities with peers who share similar interests.

Central Oregon Community College is committed to providing a positive learning environment for our students and as such, the following requirements are in place for students wishing to live in Juniper Residence Hall:

Student Eligibility Requirements

In order to live in Juniper Residence Hall, students must:

  • Have a 2.0 cumulative GPA from high school or last college attended, verified with an official transcript.  Transcripts must be submitted with the full housing contract.
  • Register for a minimum of 12 credits COCC/OSU-Cascades credits before the term starts.
  • Meet with the COCC financial aid advisor prior to coming to campus if using financial aid to pay for any portion of room and board fees.

Student Success Academic Requirements

In order to continue living in Juniper Hall, students must:

  • Be in good academic standing, as defined in COCC’s Academic Warning Policy (2.0 minimum GPA each term).   If a student earns below a 2.0 GPA or fewer than eight credits in their first term, they will be required to attend study tables or register for the three credit study skills class the following term (the course is to be paid for by the student).  If a student earns below a 2.0 GPA or fewer than eight (8) credits for two consecutive terms they will be evicted for the spring term.  If a student earns a 0.0 GPA in any term, they will be evicted prior to the start the following term.
  • Register for future terms prior to finals week of the current term. If a student is not registered prior to finals week before a term break, the student will be required to move out of the residence hall prior to leaving for the term break.
